This week's writing stimulus was the phrase .......when the connection broke......
On the weekend the electricity and internet connection broke. When the connection broke there there were candles and thousands of little lights and they all lit up the sky like a bunch of fireflies. In fact, I just realised at that second, they were fireflies and they were all different colors like blue, gold and green. I suddenly saw a pack of sparklers. On the sparklers packet there was a sign, on the sign, it said “Warning: magic sparklers”. It also said that each sparkler had its own magic power. I took one out. I pulled out a lighter that I have been keeping in my pocket for emergencies like this, when I lit the sparkler everything turned back on and the fireflies vanished,the candles blew out too.Then I blew out the sparkler and the lights went off again, the fireflies came back and the candles lit up again. I wonder what the other sparklers’ powers are……..
I am really impressed you can blow out your sparkler. ;-) I liked the other world that became visible when the lights went out and suddenly the modern world was no longer accessible and would like to have heard more about that and the potential there
