The writing stimulus the week was the words: lie, row, fly, chips and sweet.
When I was having a lie down I remembered the magic sparklers . I decided to explore their powers. I found out that you can use the sparklers two times.I pulled out a sparkler and it made chips of gold fly, from its little fire flickers,it made row upon rows too.

After the sparkler finished burning I took all the gold and I gave two pieces to each family member.I used the rest to help support the poor people. I built houses and I got them new clothes as well. I bought them all a little sweet too.
Mia what a delightful story of magic and using that magic to help others. I love that the poor people got not only houses and clothes but a sweet as well; it is important to have fun things in our lives too. Nice work using the words in a very creative way.

ReplyDeleteI like the sparklers but you left me out of the journey in finding out that you can use them only twice. What experiments did you do? Can you use two at a time? Are the effects different if you can? If the lights are on did the one that turned electricity back on turn it off or do nothing?I agree that the description of chips of gold flying is a lovely image of sparklers working. Glad that they benefited more than the wielded.
